Arod in San Francisco: Arod, rhymes with Herod (no relation), an eccentric, immanently agoraphobic, former gadabout, gay San Franciscan who enjoys books, fine spirits, walking, rhetoric (in the classic sense), aquaria, baseball, history, photography, writing, dogs, and friends ... not in any particular order. I hold a Ph.D. in Malay/Indonesian Language and Literature from Cal, 1998, and I work at a major research university (MRU).
